On March 23, 2021, the Stanislaus County Superior Court ordered service of the Summons in West Stanislaus Irrigation District vs. All Persons Interested in the Matter of the Contract Between The West Stanislaus Irrigation District and the United States of America for the Delivery of a Supply of Water from the United States of America, Providing for Payment for the Supply of Water, and Providing Conditions Applicable to the Supply of Water and Payment, and All Persons, Known and Unknown, Claiming Through or Under Such Persons, Stanislaus County Superior Court Case No. CV-20-005649, filed on December 15, 2020, to be served via publication.
The Summons will be published in the Modesto Bee on April 6, April 13, and April 20, 2021.
Defendants have until April 30, 2021 to move, plead, or otherwise respond to the Complaint in this action.
In addition to publication in the Modesto Bee, a copy of the Summons is hereby posted for the public.
West Stanislaus Irrigation District is a special district of the State of California, regulated and governed by California Law and the California Water Code.
WSID was established in 1920 for the purpose of providing water for area farmers to grow crops in the San Joaquin Valley. WSID provides irrigation water to approximately 20,236 acres within its service area as well as 2,207 acres within the White Lake Mutual Water Company service area.
West Stanislaus Irrigation District is dedicated to providing water to its customers in an efficient manner and at a reasonable cost to ensure long term reliability of the system and service to customers. Furthermore, to work with governmental and public agencies to promote the common welfare of the landowners and water users of the district.
